On a weekly basis you will come across an event dear to Italians: the local market.
A riot of noise, colour and smells; the hustle and bustle is not to be missed and offers an insight into the Italian way of life. It is a tradition both in big towns and in small villages.
It starts early in the morning and goes on until about 12.30/13.00 when, of course, everyone goes home for lunch!
The market is the best place to buy your fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as the local products and the freshest fish, meat and cheese.
